This is absolutely incredible! I greatly admire your work and accomplishment! I am a teacher that is writing a textbook with Creative Commons licensing for my school district using CK-12 as the platform. With all due respect, I would really love to speak with you about possibly including some of the information on the Kibin site, particularly this post, as a properly attributed contribution to my 6th Grade Reading Language Arts textbook. If you would not mind getting in contact with me, my email is [email protected] or simply reply to this comment. @naomi_tepper:disqus
Bulleted and numbered lists are easy to follow. Try these other tips to make the task outline more helpful. First, keep each item in the list as short as possible, such as one or two sentences long. Second, visualize the implementation of the procedure. Aim for consistency, so that multiple users can follow the outline and perform the task the same way. Finally, let readers review the task outline and look for unclear language and unnecessary words. Ask reviewers to try the steps in the outline and see if they can follow them easily from start to finish. After you fix any problems reviewers have identified, the task outline is ready for the policy and procedure manual and employee training.
